Edit Whiteinch Street Names
A number of Whiteinch street names were changed in 1912 at the time when the area, along with Partick, was absorbed into the City of Glasgow. The scenario was that, if the city had a street by the same name as a Whiteinch or Partick street, then the city street remained the same and the Whiteinch or Partick street's name changed.
